I think people are stuck in this paradoxical thought, &quot;I&#039;d like to help close the achievement gap just as long as my child continues to do better than most.&quot;

It&#039;s this thought that causes people to support extra resources for students who cant read, as long as an equal number of resources are devoted to enrichment classes for the highest achieving students. The gap will never close.]]></description>
